Fire Fighting Car in Riga Motor MuseumThe Riga Motor Museum is the largest vintage car museum in the Baltic States. It is a research and education centre broadly accessible to the general public. The museum not only collects, preserves and promotes the recognition of old, unique technology, but also studies and restores vintage cars.

 

The museum's exhibits are regulary rotated, restrored and expaned. More than 240 vintage cars can be viewed in the museum's two-storey hall at any time.

 

The museum's main collections and most valuable exhibits:

 

  • Cars Manufactured in Latvia

("Russo Balt", "Ford Vairogs", "RAF")

 

  • Bicycles and mopeds manufactured in Latvia

("Leitners", "G.Erenpreiss", "Ozolnieks", "Sarkana Zvaigzne")

 

  • Global car building in the 20s and 30s

(AUTO UNION, BMW, Ford, Chevrolet Mercedes)

 

  • Kremlin collection

(J. Stalin's "ZiS 115 S", M.Gorky's "Lincoln KB" and others)

 

  • Sovie era vehicles

("GAZ", "Moskvitch", "ZAZ", "VAZ", "IZH")

 

  • Racing and record breaking cars

("AUTO UNION Typ C/D", "VW Rekordwagen", "Pioner 2M" and others)

 

Price include return transfer, entry ticket, 1 hour excursion with professional English-speaking guide and ~30 minutes free time to explore the most interesting pieces of museum's collection yourself.
