We take you to Latvian Ethnographic Open-Air Museum with our coach transfer. There you will be a guest of honor on Traditional Latvian Wedding. 2,5-hour long show presents full Latvian Wedding ceremony, including:

• Preparation for the wedding
• Bride kidnapping
• Chants
• Veil removing ritual
• Laying in bed
• Traditional Latvian Dances

 

All show participants are dressed in quaint old clothes and wear unique antique jewelry. Musicians play traditional music of ancient Latvians. All details of the show are presented in such a way as to recreate the authentic spirit of old times in Latvia.

 

All guests are invited to dinner which is included. You will try Latvian national food - all ecological, natural and delicious. We start with famous latvian bacon pies and natural wine, followed by freshly prepared juicy sosiges with cooked & fried potatoes and braised cabbage. To close this tasty meal you will get Latvian national beer or kvas (optional).
