Daugava Day Cruise offers a rare opportunity to view Riga from the river Daugava. There is four daily tours at 12:00, 14:00, 16:00, 18:00 which last around an hour. The tour starts near the statue of Big Kristaps, the legendary founder of Riga. From there you will travel up the river to have a chance to enjoy the historic panorama of church towers roll by. You will see the Central Market and the Moscow District which is praised for its wooden architecture but is too dangerous to wander around in. We make a circle around Rabbit Island (Zaku sale) which is host to the tallest building in the city - the Television tower. The tour like this is perfect for those who want to see the city with comfort and style. While on board you can even try local cuisine from cosy on board restaurant "Canapus" or try Latvian beer. During the summer the restaurant offers a special lunch deal from 11:30-16:00 which consists of 2 courses and a drink for just 4,50 Ls.
